(A) TEXTBOOK The textbook is: Thomas'
Calculus (Early Transcendentals), Fifteenth Edition, Pearson. You will be using an online version of Thomas,
together with MyLab and Mastering.

(B2) ONLINE HOMEWORK WITH MY MATHLAB THROUGH CANVAS:
Please go to Canvas and NOT MyMathLab to access your MyMathLab course. You should be able to access MyLab homeworks from "Access Pearson". You do not need to
know the number of the course, it should be there as part of your
Canvas course. Here is the info sheet on how to do this. If you did not have a MyLab code before, you will need to purchase one.
4. Lecture notes and Lecture Schedule
The
rough lecture schedule is available inside the full SYLLABUS. The
typed notes from which I
prepare lectures, chapter by chapter, are available in the folder "Files" in Canvas. in the
order that they will
be covered. They are NOT a replacement for the textbook. The
handwritten lectures will be uploaded in the folder "Handwritten lectures" in "Files" in Canvas.
5. Worksheets for Studios These will be posted in advance of the
recitations, in the folder "Worksheets" in
"Files" in Canvas. Solutions will NOT be posted or circulated. 6. The final exam for the B and HP sections is on Thursday May 2, from 8:00-10:50am The final exam for the D sections is on Monday April 29, from 8:00-10:50 am Full
information on how the tests and final exam will be conducted will be
provided in the information sheets in the folder "Tests" in "Files" in
Canvas.
The items are weighted as
follows: MyLab Homework: 15% Quizzes: 10% Midterm tests: 50% (two best tests count 20% each and the lowest tests counts 10%) Final exam: 25% No extra credit.
A final percent of 90+, 80+, 70+, 60+ guarantees a grade of
respectively A, B, C, D respectively, though there will be a curve on
the final percentage that could yield e.g. an A for a lower grade. All grades will be posted on Canvas.
